to launch subways new menu, we created an event with various attractions for influencers to explore and share.
I crafted "the all day big breakwich" animation, to represent the ability to order any time of day.

Guests COULD SELECT ANY TIME OF DAY ON AN IPAD RUNNING THER ANIMATION IN QLAB, WHICH WOULD DO A QUICK FADE TO THE DESIRED TIME OF DAY, ALL WHILE ADJUSTING THE DYNAMIC LIGHTING IN THE ROOM. but while waiting for action, the animation had a beautiful seamless loop throughout every time of day.

The animation for every time of day consists of a multitude of lights and effects to bring the glow and vibes of each time of day to life, this allowed for the the lights to bleed and interact with each other in 3D space.
each layer than has a custom purpose built effect to represent the time of day.
Sunrise:
by placing one of the digital lighting units behind the image, and making it incredibly powerful, I was able to back illuminate the image, making the sun punch through on the horizon of the semi circle. the light was keyframe animated to slowly move around to represent the sun rising in the morning.
Midday:
the midday rig was requested to be left simple, with a small flock of birds passing by throughout the day. the birds where hand made and animated for the project. but the midday followed a similar structure in its construction.
nighttime:
The nighttime rig was the most intricate and interesting, with multiple different builds for stars, as well as hand drawn and animated shooting stars. the nighttime animation also features some backlighting akin to the immunisation the moon provides at night, but also allowing for a more dynamic scene, that slowly evolved keeping the animation fluid and lively.
