To celebrate a milestone year for segro, a custom Projection was commissioned to limbic cinema. I was bought in for my expertise in green screen, to help craft the practical green screen element of sir noel mobbs, the original founder.

Being part of and award winning project and working with the team at limbic cinema was a wonderful experience, and one that I gathered plenty of skills and experience throughout.

The voice lines for sir noel mobs had already been recorded by a different voice actor. this meant our actor on the day was having to lip sync to pre-recorded lines while acting. this was a challenge the talent hadn't encountered before, and was finding it rather tricky to memorise the lines and deliver them in sync with the voice over.
to solve this problem I set up a quick Teleprompter using a spare tv, (see image 1) that would highlight the words as the voice over played back. allowing the actor to very easily focus on his acting, the TV was placed just above the lens of the camera when shooting, so he looked like he was looking directly down the lens as intended.
The Tv teleprompter also allowed me to very quickly show the director, Ben frimstone a pre-visulsation of the project immediately after shooting, with the green screen keyed out, so he could have confidence in the shoot, allowing him to focus on bringing the best performance to life.
